I just want to rent equipment that I can take with me and set up myself. Can I do that?
Not from us, but there are a number of great locations around AMI and Holmes Beach that do that.
What is Your Cancellation Policy?
Yes, but please view our bellow cancellation policy.
The reservation deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations outside of 30 days prior the first day of the rental will be given a full refund less the reservation deposit. Cancellations within 15-29 days of the first day of the rental will be given a 50% refund (The reservation deposit will be applied towards the 50% cancellation fee). Any cancellations within 14 days of the first day of the rental will not be given a refund. If CabanUp must cancel a day of your reservation due to weather conditions, you will be given the option to reschedule (based on availability) or a full refund for the cancelled day.
If You Cancel on Me for some reason, do I automatically get rescheduled
No. If we cancel your card will not be charged for that day. We would be more than happy to work with rescheduling your beach day to the next available day for both parties.
If I want to change what I rent in the future can I do that?
Yes, based upon availability for the Service Date.
Can I change the location of my Cabana?
You can request a new Set-up Point up to two (2) calendar days in advance of your Service Date for no cost. Once the tent (and weights, if provided) has been placed, you cannot move it.
Can I place orders or make changes on your website?
Yes. Reservations are made on the website for your convenience. If you have any questions feel free to email us at info-ami@cabanup.com
What will you do if it rains?
Because rain tends to be intermittent, we will set up most days. The only exceptions will be in the event of major storms, lightning or excessive winds. In the event one of those conditions exist you’ll be notified on the morning of your Service Date that the service is cancelled and you will be not be charged for that day. In the event of a major storm service may be cancelled several days in advance.
What about lightning?
If there is lightning during the set-up period, or forecasted to be likely prevalent during most of the day or during the recovery period, service will be cancelled and you will not be charged for that day. In the event you are using your rental and it begins to lightning or excessive winds arise, please immediately seek shelter off of the beach.
How Late in the day can I use the rentals?
Standard Rentals will start to be taken down at 4:30 p.m. Late pickup times for hours ranging between 4:30-7:30 are available for purchase.
What is a skim board
Skim boards are used to ride waves close very close to the shore. It doesn’t float but rather skims the water. If you want something that floats we offer boogie boards as well.
Do you set up in Bradenton Beach / Coquina Beach?
Currently, the furthest south that we set up is 22nd street beach access. We do have plans to service the rest of Bradenton Beach/Coquina Beach at some point in the future.
Do I have to sign any sort of waiver?
Yes during online checkout you will complete both the waiver and terms of service for your convenience.
How will I know which cabana is mine?
Each cabana will be labeled with the last name of the reservation.
What if I have a problem with my cabana?

What if something I ordered is not included in my set-up?
Call us at 941-315-6784. We’ll double check the reservation and deliver any missing items to you on the beach.
What do I do with my trash when I leave
You will be provided a trash bag that will be attached to a leg of your tent. We will remove all trash with the tent removal at the end of the day.
Can I reserve more than one cabana per day?
Yes, if more than one is available. Just add an additional cabana to your online order.
What will you do in high winds?
As long as winds are forecasted to be below 25 miles per hour we will set-up the rentals. However, if you are on the beach and excessive winds or lightning occur, please immediately seek shelter off of the beach.
What time will the rentals be available?
Rentals will be available no later than 10 a.m. on most days. In the event winds are forecasted to be in excess of 14 miles per hour, rentals will we available no later than 10:30 a.m.
Can I request an earlier start time or later leave time?
Later removal times are now available! Check out our late pickup section for options. We do not offer any early set up times.
What is a director's chair?
Our basic chair is a low-profile chair that sits about 6 inches off of the ground. They are great for most beach goers, but some people might find them a challenge to get in and out of. The Director’s Chairs have a more standard height. (see pictures on rental page)
If you take cabanas down early due to high winds will I get a refund?
